If you ever wondered what it’s like to experience and listen to classical music in a late 1800's opera style environment then you are in luck. On Sunday May 1st the Tapestry Music Ensemble will be performing at the Old School House at the Presidio in Tubac. The ensemble consists of Christina Wilhelm at the piano, Judith Saber on the soprano, Anne Quirin on the flute and Ken Morrow on the accordion. The event is sponsored by the Santa Cruz Foundation for the performing Arts.
The Tapestry is a chamber music ensemble in Santa Cruz County that gives an opportunity to many talented artists and musicians to showcase their talents and for audiences to hear great classical works. Christina Wilhem who founded and directs the ensemble discovered Anne Quirin amongst the chorus members and the two have formed a potent team and have garnered much acclaim. The tapestry is a unique group of artists and musicians where you can hear traditional and non-traditional ensembles. Come down Sunday, May 1st and listen to these classically trained musicians at the Old School House.
